SPORTS AIR FILTER ON MY VW GOLF 2 1.6 DIESEL

Guys i wonder if somebody can help me about this.i have vw golf 2 1.6 diesel and i bought intake kit with sports air filter.can i put that on diesel engine? i know this aint regular question for this forum but if anybody knows something pls let me know!

i bought new.i asked because i read on some forums that isnt good to put on diesel engine,but that tractor sound annoys me a lot.

WHERE I CAME FROM. WE HAVE A LOT OF PICK UP TRUCK DIESEL WITH STREET INTAKE,WITH SUPER CHIP SET,AND A SPECIAL ECU SO IF WE CAN FIX IN A 3/4 TON PICK UP WITH 450 HP I THINK IT WILL BE GOOD IN YOUR CAR......YOUR KIT FIT FOR YOUR CAR ? OR IS FOR A OTHER KIND OF CAR .

its universal,for all cars.i think i will ber able to put it on my engine.i wanted to buy modified ECU but i read if i put it on diesel my car will smoke like and truck from exhaust man,so i dont know. serial 1.6 diesel from golf 2 has 44kW/55hp.;that s weak so i want an power upgrade but not too expensive.i wanted to buy new engine from golf 2 GTi.it has 130 hp and i wanted to put turbo on it with intake and all but i cant put turbo on this diesel because engine structure is made too weak so... if u suggest something...

Yes feli you can install the air intake in you car and you want to know something car the run with disel are better that the ones has to run with gasoline. And about you ecu just ship it and like I said before buy a header and a turbo or a nitrus bottle but becareful fast rides come with big responsability and good luck with you car

ok about the turbo you can rebuild you engine and put on it some racing parts like that you can install the turbo or do what I did with my car just swap it put another car engine on it

lOL.about nitrous no chance about that.if i buy turbo i must buy new intercooler and i must strenghten my engine because structure too weak

well i isntalld intake and air filter with that little turbine in intake pipes hehe.my car drags a buit better and it sounds great.now abobut serious power upgradehwheh.well as u told i can buy forged pistons that would make my car stronger for turbo kit but anyways turbo is expensive and i dont really trust to ebay and buying stuff from there...
